Title: Shape sensitivity analysis for some geometric inverse problems for wave equation
Abstract: We present a computational model to simulate the behavior of flexible structures subjected to bending and torsion, in a finite displacement regime and subject to unilateral constraints. To this model, we add the effects of the inertial forces and present a numerical study of the dynamic behavior of this structure. Models of this nature can be used in a variety of applications, such as the locative and global behavior of flexible rods used in offshore oil production fields. The variational formulation of this model is given by the Augmented Lagrangian method. Its approximation is done by the finite element method, and a generalized Uzawa type algorithm is used to solve its discrete point problem. Some numerical experiments are presented to prove the efficiency and robustness of the method.
